Hi Kids! its yur ‘ole pal…

Its Howdie Doodie time and when I say Doodie, I mean…
Did you take a dump today?

This is not the friendliest of topics but a very important one.

Health! What goes in must come out. What goes up must come down its the whole Kreb cycle thing. Our cells have a life cycle they breathe and crap. Well, they release toxins and take in food and oxygen. When the toxins are released we urinate, go doodie, sweat, cry, exfoliate skin cells and stuff like that. We must get rid of the garbage that we ingested the day before.

To assure we are going pottie correctly there are many different variables that can affect this detoxification time. Your sleep pattern for instance, you should go to bed the same time every night.

The liver cycle

· The liver synthesizes complex chemicals and processes toxins the most when the production of bile is lowest.

· Along the same lines, chemical synthesis and toxin processing is lowest while the liver’s production of bile is highest.

· Because bile is needed for food processing, the liver makes a greater proportion during the day – and less at night.

· Bile production is assumed to be at its highest at 9am and lowest at 9pm.

· After 9pm, the liver switches to its other primary functions, synthesizing chemicals and processing accumulated toxins.

· The cycle begins shifting around 3am, when the liver slows chemical synthesis and readies itself for bile production.

· The liver cycle shifts again around 3pm, when chemical synthesis begins to increase and bile production decreases.

Thus, the liver is most prepared to aid digestion with its synthesis of bile between 9am and 9pm

So get to bed at a regular time each night. Another thing that can make sure you are regular is what you are eating. Make sure you take your supplements, that includes minerals as well as your high quality vitamins. Fiber intake, yes we are getting older, remember your prunes, Yikes…as we age for some reason we like weird stuff like mom and dad did.
Your body will crave stuff when it need certain things. Now that doesn’t mean go eat a match stick or some dirt just because you crave it. Find out why you crave it and what the body is really hungry for.

#1: Evolution predisposes the body to crave high fat, high sugar foods

When food was scarce, the body wanted food that was packed with calories or food that could be used quickly for energy. Pleasure chemicals, like dopamine, are released in your brain when you eat high fat, high sugar foods. This is why eating chocolate and ice cream actually “feels good.” The body responds positively to this chemical release.

#2: Kicking a food habit can be more difficult than kicking cigarettes or drugs

Cutting a food from your diet is not easy-especially because you cannot give up eating. What do you do? Realize you may need to give up your food more than once. Let people know what you are doing to help yourself in avoiding temptation. Substitute other naturally sweet foods. Until refined foods became plentiful, most people satisfied sweet cravings with cooked carrots, a sweet potato, or fruit. Usually sugar cravings diminish in three to five days after elimination. Realize that food cravings do lessen over time.

#3: A craving for sweets may indicate a lack of minerals in the body

Are you craving sweets all the time? Your body may be looking for more minerals. If sweet cravings are especially difficult for you, try adding trace minerals to your diet and see what happens.

#4: People with an overgrowth of yeast in their intestines often crave sugar

Yeast that live in the intestines feed off simple sugars and an acid environment. Eliminating sugar and fruit from the diet and eating more vegetables makes the environment less hospitable for yeast and can decrease sugar cravings.

#5: Hidden ingredients may be the cause of your craving

Read all the ingredients on the label of your favorite “healthy” snack. It may look as if you are getting more energy from all the B vitamins in a product, when the real source is the caffeine listed as an inactive ingredient. Oftentimes sugar, caffeine or other chemicals are added to foods to keep you coming back for more.

#6: Craving salty foods may indicate low adrenal gland function or low thyroid function

Salt regulates water retention in the body through the kidneys and adrenal glands. It is high in iodine, which is a mineral needed for thyroid function If you are craving salt, it may be your body asking for more iodine or potassium, or pointing to a fluid imbalance.

Once you get to know your body, which you should by now but some people ignore the physical state (think of the spiritual robbery that’s going on if this is ignored) you will feel what you need sleep, water, certain foods, to eliminate…do not ignore the body’s signs. Get to know you and listen to your body’s signals. Take care of the issues as they arise because tweaking the body as you walk through life will, is like taking care of your car before it breaks down. When the oil light comes on don’t ignore it, change it before the engine seizes up. I ignored my car engine once, that was the last time because I had to buy a new car. We don’t have that option with our bodies. Change the oil! Speaking of oil…two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil before bed is a good idea, for nice skin and to help our elimination process. Exercise and water are essential to the cleansing process also. Yes the body is not a maintenance free vehicle treat it nicely and each day you can see the results of being good to it. Less wrinkles more vitality less crankiness…True Happiness is when the body is running well! and a loaded charge card.

What the hell happened?

Published January 10, 2011 by tressalee

I woke up this morning and I looked okay from a distance, a long distance. Then I got that magnifying mirror out. What man invented that devilish thing? You know it was a guy because a woman wouldn’t be so heartless to invent something that told those kinds of lies to our face.

Well, come to find out they are not lies, they are truths. Those lines that I woke up with, that would not leave until the late afternoon (after standing on my head). I had to get blood back into my face. They are really there and the mirror only validated.

Okay I’m talking about aging, this is not a pretty thing but we can do it without freaking. I guess God makes our eyes go before we can see the wrinkles and beard growing on our chinny chin- chin. He has grace but the magnifying mirror is not so gracious. In fact its down right unforgiving when it comes to those wrinkles and pores, that my naked eye has such soft focus (blurry actually) I never knew they existed.

They do! Now what? We must be proactive (not the pimple solution) that will not help at this point. I’m taking Salmon, fish oil, olive oils, 10w30 oil, anything with oil in it. Our skin is starving for nutrition that’s all, topical is not the whole answer life comes from the cell insde. Do not worry, together can help this frightening situation. I’m hip, its vanity and we have more things to worry about like birds falling out of the sky (thats perspective) but it still hurts a woman to watch her beauty fade, ouchy. So lets get on the glasses and be truthful with ourselves and start feeding those lines and cracks and those places that are falling like your ass…that’s another story take a look back there too.

upon waking…

Give thanks to our Creator!
Drink one glass of non-tap water and not the half drank beer from last night.
Get the protein a high quality or eat some Chicken/Salmon from last nights dinner/yogurt good.(I’m now Indian…how)!
Take minerals, get the best, a colloidal is easier to assimilate
take vitamins they are different from mins you know.
Amino acids should be in the protein you choose/Ezekiel bread has them it makes great toast
Exercise is a must not optional…Jump to some fun music, helps the brain chemistry and makes you feel alive…get a trampoline they have small ones.
Stretch and get some weights, start 15 mins at first, do it while you watch the news …
Use the body, it will keep the cells rejuvenating and dance is always fun, take a class in ballroom
watch out for the hot 80 year olds they can dance like hell…
Music is therapy is healing it changes the vibration in the spirit.
Aroma therapy… cook with whole foods smell the cucumbers they always make me smile and buy some flowers so you can smell than as well as look at their beauty.

THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS THAT I LIVE… and they work for me, I know they can for you too!
